Hello friends, today I am starting Safar-e- Prelims 2023 series . This series will run till 25th May 2023. The sole objective of the SAFAR-E-Prelims 2023 Series is how you all can clear the Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2023. In this way, we give current affairs everyday, but in this we will give current affairs as well as important general studies topics from where questions always come.

Ø  Today, first of all let me explain you the syllabus of prelims.

Ø  Our Civil Services Preliminary Exam consists of 2 question papers.

 

General Studies-1

General Studies-2

 

General Studies-1, consists of 100 questions, this entire paper is of 200 marks. There is negative marking of one third . one correct question will be deducted for three wrong questions. If you get 100 marks in General Studies-I . cable 50 questions correctly then you will be in a position to clear the prelims today. You also have to pass General Studies-II to pass Prelims, the minimum marks for General Studies-II is 33%.

 

Syllabus of General Studies-1

Ø  Current events of national and international importance.

Ø  History of India and Indian National Movement.

Ø  Indian and World Geography- Natural, social and economic geography of India and the world.

Ø  Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, General Issues of Rights, etc.

Ø  Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demography, Social Sector Initiatives etc.

Ø  General issues related to environmental ecology, biodiversity and climate change – which do not require subject expertise

Ø  General Science


There are 80 questions in General Studies-II, there is negative marking i.e. one correct question will be deducted on three wrong .

Ø            General Mental Ability
